Cooking Directions:

Microwave:

Since microwave oven wattage varies, cooking times may need adjusted for the Candied Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar Glaze. 1. Place sweet potatoes in 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle Candied Sauce Mix evenly over potatoes. Add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Cover with plastic wrap, folding back a corner to vent. 2. Microwave on High 8 minutes. 3. Remove from oven and stir. Cut any large potatoes and heat an additional 2 to 4 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender.  4. Remove Candied Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar Glaze from oven; let stand 5 minutes. 

Conventional Oven:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Cut open bag and place frozen sweet potatoes in 1-quart size casserole dish. Sprinkle Candied Sauce Mix evenly over potatoes. Add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine; cover. 3. Bake 40 minutes on center rack. 4. Remove from oven and stir. Cut large potatoes and bake an additional 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender. 5. Remove Candied Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar Glaze from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Stovetop:

1.  Add 1/4 cup water, 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, and Candied Sauce mix to  1 -quart size saucepan. Heat over Medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stir frequently 2. Cut open bag and add frozen sweet potatoes and to heated sauce. Stir to coat, cover and heat for 20 minutes on low heat stirring occasionally.  3.Cut any large potatoes and continue heating 10 to 15 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender stirring occasionally.  4. Let Candied Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar Glaze stand 5 minutes before serving.
