Ingredients
  

  • 3 Slices Bacon finely chopped
  • 1 Small Onion diced
  • 1 Small Green Pepper diced
  • 1 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 can Hanover Foods Chicken Broth
  • 2 15.5oz cans Hanover Foods Black Beans
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place bacon, onion, green pepper, garlic, cumin, chili powder, and black pepper in a large pot
  • Add orange juice and baking soda and stir
  • Add chicken broth and black beans, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes
